The notes provided with the layout say: the DNA layout contains the DNA photocopy we have, as well as journaling explaining that the govts of Guat & US had to agree to the adoption & that one of the things that had to be done was the DNA, which proved that Rachel's birthmom was truly her birthmom. I then mention that seeing Rachel again for this test must have made the birthmom both happy & sad, and perhaps hopeful. (happy that she could see how well the F.M. had been caring for Rachel, sad to have to say goodbye to Rachel again, and hopeful for the opportunities and family Rachel would have as her forever family. I also mention that I hope her birthmom knows that we love Rachel & that we think & pray for her and her Guatemala family often.
