This is the first of a two-page spread I did describing the siblings in Maria's birth family. It also describes why the older two were not adopted when the younger two were and attempts to reassure Maria that even though her birthmother could not afford to raise her or the younger birth sibling, there is enough money to support her birth family remaining in Guatemala. We don't have any pictures of the older two siblings but this page shows a picture of Maria with her younger birth sibling, also adopted by a family in the US.
The photo is matted by the Sizzix scalloped frame die cut. Jordyn's name is done in two different layered colors of alphabet punchies and the floral punch art adds a decorative touch to the name.
