I really LOVE this layout and look forward to the possibilities that this one represents. The background paper on this one is an example of those that I hope to offer on the web site in the near future!
The worry dolls are affixed to the page in a sewn-on fashion. . . I started from the back of the mounting paper with a threaded needle and placed it on top of the worry doll before going back down through the paper to tie.
The vellum paper is attached with paper fasteners. I thought the yellow ones really stood out against the colorful paper under it!
I used the 6" Guatemala sticker to make both the word "Guatemala" at the bottom and to put the coat of arms (which appears on the flag) on either side of the translation page topper. Both of these elements were embellished with the one cropped sticker. |
