I borrowed your idea of scanning fabric and scanned part of a shawl I got in Russia for the background paper. Then I printed it using the "borderless" setting on my printer. The vellum pocket is actually adhered with vellum tape to keep things from falling out--- I just liked the look of the brads with it.
NOTE: When she purchased the bilingual page topper shown in the layout, I was offering them in a slightly different format. Due to logistics, this can now be replicated with the vellum translation title and the sterling silver praying hands charm separately. |
