This layout was done by me for the lifebook of my daughter's bio-sister. In the two page spread, I use photos from the city of Amatitlan, including one of the hospital where Jordyn was born (thanks to a cyber buddy!), the Guatemala fabric paper and Sizzix letters for the title. I used a silver gel pen to caption the photos and to draw an edge along the left side of the letters for depth.
On the right page, I use a map of south central Guatemala I found on the internet and do "Amatitlan Guatemala" in Sizzix letters to coordinate with the left page. I printed Amatitlan and hospital facts on vellum and then ran the vellum through my Xyron to attach it to the page. Then, I hand-cut arrows and printed on them "Jordyn born here", "Maria born here" and "Scott born here" so that they could point to the cities where my kids and Jordyn were born. |
