This layout was done by me. I hadn't originally planned a page like this for my daughter's lifebook, but it really recently fell into my lap. Right before my daughter's class graduated from preschool, each child was instructed to draw a picture that would be pasted to the front of his or her diploma. Image my delight when Maria told me that the picture she drew represented the day that John and I came to Guatemala to adopt her! I nearly cried tears of joy! I thought to myself how wonderful it was that that given day was so important to her that she would choose it to grace the front of her diploma.
I also really like the fact that this page helps to put her own personal touch in her lifebook. I have decided to make this the final page in her lifebook, as it seems so appropriate.
A design comment -- there are purple mini fasteners in the middle of the hearts used as photo corners. |
