We were lucky to obtain this beautiful photo of Scott's birthmother after our adoption had completed.
The papers I used were from a large assortment pack I had and I used paper tearing to give it a soft edge. I used organza ribbon to frame the picture and then a pastel green parchment paper for my journaling. Rubber stamps made her name "Elma" at the bottom and I adhered it to the paper with gold brads. The design at the top used the various papers from the page and some stacking deckle square punches.
Although I didn't use it in this layout, I always like the "Birthmothers Gift of Love" poem for a birthmother page. |
