This layout in Maria's lifebook shows pictures of her, shortly after relinquishment, with her first foster family. These pictures were kindly taken with a disposable camera that I sent down to Guatemala with a family that was traveling. A lifebook tip: if you know of someone traveling to the same foster home, or orphange, or who is working with the same attorney/facilitator/in-country representative, check to see if they would be willing to take a disposable camera to photograph your child. The images are priceless, as you get photos of your children in their birth environment, with the people that cared for them before you did.
The "Foster Care" die cut, which comes in white or black, is layered over daisy die cuts (I used nine, six along the top and three in the bottom right corner) on a black page. The die cut phrase in black would look equally well on a white or patterned background page.
